It was a star-studded affair at Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club on June 11, 2014 as all the “swing” stars from the Tri-Cities came out to play at the Chamber of Commerce annual golf tournament.
The Chamber finally delayed the tournament, which is usually a May event, by 3 weeks thus allowing us to enjoy sunny skies and great performances. The course was perfect.
Fun at Hole #5 with my friends Catherine Polonio, Owner of Coquitlam Florist and Linette Nadeau who represented the PoCo Inn & Suites, the day went by too quickly. Our beautiful display of colorful and fun novelty candies was a hit and I am not talking just about the golfers on the course. Whether the Chamber of Commerce, the Earls Restaurant Port-Coquitlam, the Thrifty Foods Coquitlam, Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club or the tournament volunteer teams we know that the candy buffet was appreciated by all.
I am so glad to have been able to participate in this wonderful event as it is one which I used to organized and had tremendous pleasure doing so.
