Today we welcomed a rescue cat. We are super excited but nervous at the same time as we never owned (or train lol) a cat before – so it will be all new to us from now on.
Little Luna here was found on Nicomen Island – along the Fraser River (East of Mission) – with many other abandoned and/or wild cats where she spent the entire winter taking care of herself. We are still amazed that she made it through because let’s be honest last winter was harsh. She may be a year old but max 3. We will be taking it easy, slow and give her plenty of time to adjust, and tonight after 5 hours in the house she had her first meal. It’s a good sign, right?
Anyway, this is our big news of the day and we are thrilled to be able to extend our family this way.
