Fan of tennis ever since I can remember, it was a delight to discover the Odlum Brown VanOpen in 2012. The professional tennis tournament here in Vancouver is one of Canada’s top pro events. It combines a unique partnership between Tennis Canada, the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour (ATP) Challenger Tour, and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) . With over 100 tennis players from around the globe, the $200 000 Challenger event is held at the Hollyburn Country Club and runs from July 26 to Sunday Aug 3 2014.
The former world No. 2 Vera Zvonareva withdrawn her participation 6 days ago but I would still recommend everyone to go. This year level is far to be disappointing with Baghdatis, Bogomolov Jr. and Jimmy Wang participating. There are 5 days left to attend this year tournament, so don’t wait much longer.
